  • Beam clamps provide a quick and versatile rigging point for hoisting equipment, pulley blocks or loads and can also be used as a pulling point or as an anchor. The central threaded spindle allows easy attachment and a safe and secure grip to the beam flange.
  • Beam trolleys or manual push trolleys are used for moving loads on I beams of H beams. The trolley is fitted onto the beam using opposing threads or a washer set up. The trolley is free to roll along the underside of the beam when fitted. A chain sling, chain block, lever hoist, nylon web sling or wire rope sling can be suspended from the manual push trolley from its suspension point. Beam trolleys are available from 500kg to 5000kg.
  • Manhole lifting pins are designed to assist the safe lifting and positioning of concrete manhole chambers. At DRE we stock two types of Manhole lifting Pin. • The Latch Type manhole lifting pin mechanism makes it faster and safer when lifting Concrete pipes. The pin features an automatic drop latch which secures the pin in the manhole • The Basic Type manhole lifting pins provide good value for money compared with the latch type. They are designed to be used in three's and come with certification
  • The steel galvanised lean over davit, is a 3 piece design with a range of socket pin diameters. Manufactured from mild steel and galvanised to BS EN 1461. The lean over davit is designed for the lifting of goods with the use of a chain block. This versatile, portable piece of equipment is available in a variety of specifications. Davit sockets are used in conjunction with portable lifting davits and can be strategically placed to provide a support structure in multiple locations, for the same davit or number of davits.
  • DRE fork mounted lifting hook is generally used when it is required to lift the load from the top rather than lifting from below the load, for example where the fork blades cannot fit under the load. They are manufactured to suit Teleporter and Forklift and the swivel hook allows for manoeuvrability of load.
  • Geared Beam trolleys are essentially the same device as the plain trolley with one major exception. Geared beam trolleys feature wheels that are fitted with gears and chain. The trolley is designed so that when either side of the chain is pulled, the gears and wheels of the trolley will move back and forth along the beam flange, allowing the operator to more precisely move a load from one place to the other.
  • The ratchet lever hoist has been developed especially for lifting, pulling, securing and tensioning loads. They are often referred to as come-a-longs or ratchet blocks. The most common way to suspend a ratchet lever hoist is using the top hook and a beam clamp or trolley. DRE can supply ratchet lever hoists with safe working loads from 250kg to 6000kg
  • DRE supply a selection of 1 Leg, 2 Leg, 3leg and 4 Leg Chain Slings, manufactured to our customer’s requirements for optimum reliability, accuracy and durability. We supply chain assemblies from Grad 80 and Grade 100 in all different lengths and with different SWL’s. Our chains can be manufactured with shortners for working length adjustments with either safety self-locking hooks or sling hooks. All chain assemblies are fully certified.
  • The Manhole Lifting Clamp is for the transportation and placement of upright pipes and cones. The clamps are equipped with safety locks (pretension springs). The clamps are designed for all standard shaft rings and cones. Attachment and removal of the lifting clamp from the pipes has been designed so that it can be carried out easily in demanding site conditions. Available to purchase or enquiry.
  • The Manhole housing / cover lifting grab is a safe way to transport and fit manhole Housing and Covers. The DRE spring loaded mechanical scissors system is fitted with replaceable hard rubber pads to minimise damage to housing. Available to purchase or enquiry.
  • Manhole Ring lifters allow Manhole Rings to be safely gripped internally and are easily adjustable for the easy movement of Manhole Rings up to 2500kg. The automatic release mechanism allows the manhole rings to be moved and placed by the machine operator, making this a one person operation. The flexible size adjustment will accommodate ring sizes from 625mm to 1500mm diameter. Available to purchase or hire.
  • Nylon round slings are easy to use and are ideally suited for light lifting. These round slings are very flexible because they can be fitted around your cargo in many different ways. They are ideal for lifting cylindrical objects. They are also suitable for lifting smooth, polished or slippery objects. The round slings are made of lightweight polyester webbing. This type of lifting harness wears evenly, which means it has a long service life. DRE supply a wide range of sizes in both Nylon Web slings and Round Slings
  • Nylon Lifting web slings are ideal for applications requiring flexibility, durability and strength. Nylon web slings are also very versatile making them an economical choice over other types of lifting slings. The versatility of nylon eye and eye slings makes them a popular and economical choice for the crane, rigging and material handling industries. Eye and eye slings can be used in choker, vertical and basket hitches.
  • The DRE Pipe laying Hook is slung from a central point and is designed to improve safety when transporting or laying pipes. It has multiple lifting eyes meaning various lengths of pipes can be lifted securely. Safety chains are fitted as standard.
  • The Chain Block features top and bottom hooks, the top hook is used to suspend the hoist from a beam clamp or trolley, the bottom hook is the load hook, this is raised and lowered by simply pulling down on the hand chain, this then turns gears inside the hoisting unit to raise or lower the load.
  • DRE Spreader Beams are available with various lifting capacities and strengths. These devices are used to assist operators in picking up large and heavy loads. We can design and manufacture Horizontal, Square, Rectangular and adjustable spreader beams. They can be mounted to assist in a range of crane and overhead lifting applications.
  • Our Grade 60, 316L Stainless Steel Lifting Pump Chains are a quality product for the lifting and lowering of pumps and aeration devices for water and wastewater. All products are manufactured from corrosion resistant Stainless Steel to EN 10088 / EN 10027-2 / 1.4404 Our chains are fitted with a master-link at each end and at 1 metre centres which makes them suited for step-by-step lowering, lifting or locking. All attachments and chains are tested and supplied complete with ID and relevant certification. All chains have an ID tag with SWL (Safe Working Load) clearly marked. Assemblies are Proof Load Tested to 2.5 x W.L.L. Factor of Safety: 4:1 Our high-grade pump chains have a load capacity that ranges from 630kg to max. 7000kg.
  • Lashing chains in accordance with EN 12195-3 are perfect for diagonal lashing of heavy loads. With shortening elements, the desired length can be set. The shortening unit must have a lock against accidental opening. Lashing chains in the modular system are manufactured in quality 8 in accordance with EN 12195-3 (minimum break stress 800 N/mm2). They have a minimum breaking strain of 20%, ensure longevity and are designed for top performance despite lightweight production. Lashing chains are especially suitable for very heavy loads, in particular on flat bed trailers and for the lashing types of diagonal and cross lashing. If the lashing chains are placed over the load during frictional lashing, edge protection elements must be used to prevent the load from being damaged by the chains and so that the chain elements can slide over the edges. If the edge is made so that the chain cannot slide over it, direct lashing should be preferred. With load chain tensioners and ratchet load tensioner jacks, highly stable chains of quality 8 or 10 can be operated perfectly well
