When a site is too big to grit by hand but doesn’t need a large machine, a compact spreader is the right fit. These models suit small car parks, yards, business entrances and access routes. They mount on a pickup, utility vehicle, ATV or tractor, or tow behind.

Hopper sizes run from 70 to 163 litres, so you can treat a typical small site in one or two fills. Most run on 12V vehicle power, and the BAUER tow-behind is wheel-driven, so it needs no power at all.
